Music Ministry

Music in itself is a gift from God. Couple that with the gospel truth found in our texts and it becomes apparent why our church music is such an important part of the worship we enjoy (Col. 3:16).

Across our land, many churches of all denominations have adopted the style of music referred to as contemporary. At Mount Moriah, our worship is blended, offering the finest traditional hymns and anthems as well as the latest and most exciting contemporary songs. The litmus test for both styles is this: do the texts teach the gospel truth and do they point us to Christ? Is the music well crafted, creative and worthy to be offered to God?
